salsa

Vijay Patel has been dancing Salsa since 2006, and has performed at various events. He started teaching for SGAP in 2010, and performed with his students in Yate & Bradley Stoke festivals, the SGAP AGM and the Annual Show. Watch the last Annual show performance on You Tube

Bhangra & Salsa

This is a new concept and is based on allowing individuals to dance a fusion of dances without partners, The moves are a combination of Salsa “shines”, bollywood and Bhangra inspired styling and the result is a fun way of exercising, improving agility and above all having a laugh!

The first Performance was at the Engage Festival in Filton in October 2010 – watch it on You Tube

Prerna

Prerna has been teaching Bollywood Dance for over 10 years to SGAP students. Bollywood has been a key activity of SGAP attracting upto 30-40 students in some years from ages 4-18 and Prerna was instrumental in making it happen. Some of the students “grew up” with SGAP starting from age 4 right upto 16+ and gained dance experience as well as new friends and confidence to perform in front of 100’s of people.
