I was born in Kenya, founded SGAP with Vijay Patel, Pramod Mistry back in 1999 and am now starting my second stint as chair. My wife Vanita and I have lived in Bradley Stoke for 17 of the 21 years we have been married along with our three children who make sure we have a busy family life.

When I’m not busy with my family, with work as an IT consultant, or with SGAP, I’m out playing sports. I used to play five-a-side football until age caught up with me but now you can find me on the golf course trying to bring a handicap of 28 down to 18 in the next 12 months. I’ll let you know if I get there! Sport is one of a range of activities that we plan to run. I hope you’ll take the opportunity to join in and enjoy everything we offer. For whilst I’ve hopefully helped and enriched the lives of our community through SGAP I’ve also made loads of new friends and acquaintances through its activities and trust that you will too.
